Star Wars Packaging :: Stormtrooper

Alright, I have no idea why the Stormtrooper's arms and belt are blue. They were blue in the old comic, so your guess is as good as mine. If you happen to know why, I'd love to know. I suppose it was just a choice the colorist made back in the early 80's. If that's true, it's funny how a simple choice made by a colorist would effect toy packaging almost 30 years later.

    Hmm, well, I have no idea why it would be relevant back in the day, but I did notice in the prequels the Stormtrropers were a lot more colorful overall. Everybody seemed to get a fresh coat of paint. I suppose by New hope they decided the basic white look was more vogue. That or the Empire started to run out of blaster resistant paint.

    You know how on an airplane the toilet water is blue? I bet it is on the Death Star too. Because I'm such a lady I'll stop there and let your imagination take over.
