Talisman Issue 5 :: Color Pages
Talisman #5 hit the stands, so I'm posting a batch of pages drawn by myself and colored by the very talented J.D. Mettler. I can't tell you how happy I am with what JD has done here. He's an amazing talent. I hope you enjoy them!

Great work on this. what weirds me out is seeing digital colour on inked expressions... then again, it does make you pay more attention to their faces.

There's always some tension in taking separate figures and drawing them together, like the CGI 'collage effect' where an actor is looking at something, but what they're seeing isn't always in the expression. That process is worth it to have a face look consistent while changing expressions though.

Together you both have a great control of mood in the 'open plains' scenes. I want to rush out there.
