Warm-up Sketch :: Hunger Games

It's catch-up week at Ashcan Allstars, and I needed to do a Hunger Games piece. Also, my kid loves the books, so here you go!

I had another warm-up sketch planned for today, but with the passing of Nora Ephron I decided to focus on her movies for a little while.

Heroes Con 2012

It's that time of year again! Heroes Con is almost upon us. This year I'll have books, prints, and a stack of extremely reasonably priced (read cheap!) original art to sell. For the first time I will be selling my warm-up sketches. I add the zip and the texture to my digital pencils, and then ink traditionally, so it's all right there on the board.

8.5 X 11 on watercolor paper. The price is $50 each at the convention only. My art dealer will have them after the show for $75 plus shipping. If you aren't familiar with the warm up sketches you can see them over here on my facebook page.
